St. Augustine Vacation

This is the annual summer trip, 45 minutes south of here to St. Augustine where Suzy's parents and grandparents get a 2 condo's for the week and we have a small family reunion there. It's a fun place, very close to the beach, has 3 swimming pools and lots of stuff to do downtown.

The first thing Aydan got to do was go to the Alligator Farm with Nana and her cousins. Aydan with her cousin Kamryn



The coolest thing about the Alligator Farm is the live gator you can climb on! He is soooo friendly!!

Summer catch up!

It's been a while since we've posted here so we have a lot of updating to do.

The first thing we did this summer was have a Sivley family reunion at Ft. Walton Beach near Destin, Florida. It was about a 5 hour drive for us from Jacksonville and we had a great time!

We had a great time! Luke was there with Crystal, Alex and Mackenzie along with Dad's aunts, uncles and cousins. We can't wait to see them again!

Our Cinderella

This past Saturday, Patty, my mother in law, decided to take Aydan to see Disney's Princess on Ice. Patty had been planning this little adventure for quite some time and Aydan was very excited to go see all her favorite princesses. So, Saturday, Suzy got Aydan dressed in her Cinderella gown that Patty had bought for her complete with tiara and slippers ( not glass because that's just dangerous) and made her hair up nice and pretty because pictures were at 10 am sharp.
Then it was manicure and pedicure time!
She loves the flower on her toe!

Aydan had a sticker sheet with all the princesses on it and when she saw another little girl she would hand them the sticker of the dress they were wearing! You can't get any cuter than that! Needless to say she had a great day with her nana!

Easter 2008

For Easter, we decided to try to attend the 'sunrise' service which began at 6 am. We set the alarm to wake up super early and we made it! The girls were adorable in poofy little plaid dresses. Since it was a special service, though, there was no nursery. No one else in our extended family made it to that service, so we had 2 sleepy girls, neither of which would want to go to daddy, so I had to leave the service and sit in the nursery (Barbee, our surrogate grandma) sat out with me to help me with the girls. After church, which Heath got to enjoy, we had a super yummy breakfast at church. After we ate, we did our little photo shoot at the fountain. Since I totally missed the first service, we plunked Mara in the nursery and sat for the second service at 8 am. After church, we came home and Aydan searched for her basket that the Easter Bunny hid for her (in the same place that it was last year!). We played with the toys, ate some candy, and took a nice little nap. In the afternoon we went to Papa's house for a family dinner. The girls wore cute dresses that Aunt Donna made for them a year ago. They were adorable! We had a great day together.
